内容简介：This paper investigates how China's Air Pollution Control Action Plan affects housing prices through a quasi-experimental design. It identifies two channels: the Amenity Effect, which boosts housing prices by attracting population inflows, and the Production Effect, which reduces prices due to manufacturing labor displacement. Using a triple difference framework, the study finds that housing prices rise in key regulated regions but less so in areas with high manufacturing intensity. The policy improves living standards for non-manufacturing migrants but worsens conditions for manufacturing migrants, especially those with limited access to public services.
